Fixing the pain

John Weber, President of Software Toolbox

John Weber, President of Software Toolbox

While working with an automation distributor, John encountered a plethora of mid level software solutions that were needed to fully complete the picture. While all of these products existed, the infrastructure to make the purchasing easy from the customer view did not. Software toolbox provides a one stop source for customers looking for innovative software solutions in an organized and customer friendly format with world class support

What’s the return on investment?

We all love to hear success stories, and today John stunned us with one of his own.  You have to take a moment to listen to the interview to hear John describe how a $2,500 software investment helped save a client over $21 million dollars!  That’s right, I’ll leave it to you to work the numbers out, but needless to say what an incredible story of value and precision solutions.

We also want to take a moment thank our guest host today Mr. Bob Lowe who is the Executive Director of the Control System’s Integrator Association (CSIA).  You can learn more about Mr. Lowe and CSIA by clicking here and here.

You have to spend money to make money!!

We always jump at the chance to talk about one of our favorite subjects, CASH!! Today we welcomed Dave Kocarhook, Senior Vice President with Midland American Capital. Midland America provides working capital to businesses based upon leveraging assets.  These assets often include Accounts Receivable or Purchase Orders. I can speak from my personal experience as a financial auditor that for many growing businesses that cash flow can often be a main hindrance to immediate growth. Today Dave was able to clarify just how Midland American is able to assist businesses with resolving their cash flow headaches.

It’s all about communication

While Dave went into detail about Midland’s various services, one question immediately arose.  How will my customers feel about my outsourcing accounts receivable?  Fortunately this is a common concern that Dave handles everyday.  Dave explained to us that it is all about communicating with your clients with the key being able to properly position your actions.  Once again, it is all about open

communication

We really learned a lot about the benefits and services that Midland American offers.  Take a moment to listen to the entire interview and hear Dave explain how Midland American can help your business grow.

RECON – The difference between “Survive” and “Thrive”

Studies have shown that shutting down a plant could have been avoided with as little as a 3.7 % higher profitability.  In fact,  4.2% in additional profitability would have ensured not only profitability, but robust profitability.

RECON has delivered as much as an additional 10-15% to a plant’s bottom line.

Worth a look?

A trillion here… A trillion there…

Is it possible that 25% of the energy produced in the U.S. is wasted?  “Yes,” says Livingston  & Haven’s Dan Gillig.   That’s a $1 TRILLION down the drain.  That’s 1.1 gigatons of carbon, which is equivalent to what the the entire US vehicle fleet products.

The L&H RECON technology can not only shave tens of thousands of dollars off a manufacturing sites energy bill, it’s got one heck a great impact on our environment!
